About Georgie

Thank you for being here and for your curiosity. I believe that relationship lies at the heart of any therapeutic exploration, and knowing a little about me, may be supportive.

I have spent over a decade working in the psychological field across a broad range of social services, within third sector organisations. My path has led me to support and walk alongside individuals navigating experiences of homelessness, addiction, suicidality, neurodivergence, substance use, crisis, complex psychiatric diagnoses, and challenging behaviours.

Through this, I have come to deeply affirm that we are not defined by our struggles or pathologies, we are, above all, human. I believe each of us carries within us a unique gift, a particular genius, contributing and belonging us to the whole of humanity.

My approach is shaped not only by professional training but also by lived experience. A chapter of my own journey could be described as a spiritual emergency, an initiation of sorts, though at the time, it was met with a psychiatric label. This experience brought me into the depths of the human condition, allowing me to touch these territories firsthand and find pathways through.

Your journey is unique, and in our work together, it is your inner compass we will follow, as you discover and find your own way.

“I want to be a space where nothing in me, gets in the way of what is emerging in you.”

— Ram Dass

Trainings

  • I view my personal practice as an essential extension of my ongoing training. By deeply exploring my own unfolding and growth, I believe I enhance my capacity to be as present as possible for my clients, which I sense directly influences the depth and quality of the work we can achieve together.

  • I began my journey with an initial certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Warwick University, which led me to further my studies at The Psychosynthesis Trust, where I completed a foundation and PGDip in Psychosynthesis Counselling. My practice is supported and held accountable via regular professional supervision.

For the past 8 years I have volunteered with The Spiritual Crisis Network. Currently, I am a stand in facilitator for the London Peer Support Group.

  • I am currently training on The Psychedelic Practitioner Core Training at The Synthesis Institute.

  • I completed Level 1 and Level 2 Reiki Training, at The Reiki Academy in both lineages of the Usui system of Reiki.

I offer Reiki treatments for The Stress Project.

  • After studying on the Mindful Based Stressed Reduction Program at Warwick University, I began an intentional journey practising meditation.

I have facilitated a meditation group for individuals who have attend the Safe Haven Project at Mind in Haringey.

I have been a member of an esoteric school for the past 6 years, having received training in shamanism, faith healing traditions and the feminine healing arts.
