Counselling

Psychosynthesis serves as the foundation of my work, integrating the body and exploring dimensions beyond the personal self. I also draw from a range of approaches, including Person-Centred, Somatic, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, Family Systems, and Creative methods, adapting to what emerges in our relational presence. My approach is transpersonal, integrative and intuitive.

I see the body as essential to this process; I believe that wholeness cannot be reached through words alone. Sessions may therefore include somatic work, which could involve movement beyond the chair, breathwork, drawing, or using the body to explore your present experience. Myths, dreams, symbols, and sounds may emerge. Imagination may be used as a weaver through which a deeper synthesis can be created.

The counselling space offers an opportunity for profound self-enquiry, a place to breathe, reflect, and contemplate. In our modern lives, we often become unconsciously attuned to particular frequencies, forgetting the rhythms we are moving too. This process invites us to question the melodies we find ourselves playing and explore what has shaped them.

With deepening awareness, comes the possibility of freedom, choice and transformation. It can be a space where knowledge can mature into wisdom.

Everything I offer is invitational, with your unique self-authoring guiding the process. Together, we will explore your unfolding self with curiosity, care, and playfulness, allowing these qualities to shape the rhythm of our shared moments.

After all, even the alchemists realised that to create a new substance, the gold of well-being, that for this synthesis to work, it was vital to ‘take part’ and analyse the old material first.
