Counselling

The space in counselling is a co-created relationship and it is between our relationship where you can shed light on how other relationships within your life manifest, including your melodies of relating to yourself. This can sometimes feel like lengthy work, counselling is not about giving advice or telling you what to do. Here the space for answers becomes goalless and where wisdom is matured from knowledge. I see that the body is integral to this work, I believe you can’t speak your way to wholeness! Therefore the sessions may include somatic work, this could look like movement out of the chair, breathing practises, expressing through drawing or using the body to navigate your current positioning. Stories, dreams, symbols and sounds may emerge.

The therapy process allows for expression, exploring and understanding, offering different perspectives on your experience, which can potentially bring you into a deeper relational intimacy, bidirectionally with life. It is within the process where patterns can reveal themselves, here you can orchestrate the harmony needed for realignment towards your wishes.

I view my approach as fundamentally being guided from my heart. Everything which I offer is invitational, what is crucial is your unique authoring of your own unfolding.

Care, curiosity and play will be at the beat of the moments we share together.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, BACP. According to your location and preference, I can offer either in person or online sessions.

“After all, even the alchemists realised that to create a new substance, ‘the gold of well-being’, that for this synthesis to work, it was vital to ‘take part’ and analyse the old material first.”
